Partner Schools

At this time, Exploring the Arts programs and funding are available to ETA Partner Schools only. All ETA Partner Schools are New York City public high schools with intensive arts programs.

Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, ETA's original Partner School, was founded by Tony Bennett and Susan Benedetto in partnership with the NYC Department of Education. FSSA serves grades 9-12 and is located in Astoria, Queens. All students major in one of the following disciplines: Film & Media Arts, Theatre, Fine Art, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Dance. Students must audition for admission to the school. In addition to its arts focus, FSSA offers a rigorous academic curriculum and requires of all students a strong commitment to community service. FSSA holds one of the highest graduation rates for NYC public high schools.

Talent Unlimited High School serves grades 9-12 and is located in midtown Manhattan on the east side. The school's mission is to empower all students to build community, take ownership of their learning, think critically and achieve success through the integration of rigorous performing arts and academic curricula. All students must audition for admission to the school, where they may major in either Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, or Musical Theatre.

Urban Assembly for the Performing Arts serves grades 9-12 and is located in Manhattan's neighborhood of Harlem. Students do not need to audition for admission. Modeled after the college experience, students must take one semester of each art form during their first two years and then select one art form as a major for their final two years. They may major in either Dance, Drama, Vocal or Instrumental Music. Urban Assembly's mission is to prepare students from under-resourced neighborhoods for completion of high school and success in 4-year colleges.
